K2: SHADOW OF THE HIMALAYAS

Few peaks on Earth evoke such fear and fascination as K2. Standing sentinel at the meeting point of Pakistan and China, it's a mountain that has claimed more than upwards of 75 mountaineers. It's earned its grim nickname, "The Devil's Smoke," due to the hazardous conditions it presents. Climbers brave winds that can gust at speeds exceeding 90 knot
